A Catholic Community of Learners
St Joseph's provides a very special environment for children, where each and every one is encouraged to recognise their self worth, reach their full potential and make a contribution back into the community.
We are a local-authority maintained school and a Catholic school within the Diocese of Arundel and Brighton. For the past few years, the school has undergone significant expansion and now we are a very popular two form entry school, full to the brim. We continue to improve our school environment, with new kitchens installed in Spring 2014. Our next projects will be to replace sections of the school roof and to expand the playground. We enjoy a high level of academic success, as our assessment results indicate. If you follow the link to 'assessment results' you will see that our children achieve very good results, which they can be proud of as they move to secondary school.
St Joseph's goes from strength to strength, having gained numerous external accreditations for the work we do, namely ICTmark, Eco-Schools Green Flag status, Fair Trade Status, Gold Artsmark Award and Healthy Schools Status. In July 2013, we were exceptionally proud to gain our International Schools Status, in recognition of the links we have overseas in Spain, Kenya and Kerala.
